As I was writing All I Had Was Your Birth Certificate, It brought back many wonderful childhood memories. After all is said and done, all the years have gone by. I look back on the things that meant the most, growing up with my siblings. As I come to the final chapter of my book, I feel a sense of relief and closure. I now feel that I can move forward and close this chapter of my life. My prayer is that God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. I wish I could change things for my sister’s sake but I cannot change what has already been done. You can never go back you have to move forward. You can either stay stuck in the past or move forward. There are not a lot of choices. My sister was deceived all those years with lies. When the truth was revealed, it was hard for her to deal with. In the word of God,” John 8:32 declares that ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free”. It is up to an individual to believe or not. Mom loved all of her children and she wanted to raise all of us together. She wanted us to be there for one another but she never got a chance to be the mother of her missing daughter. The choice was taken away from this daughter when she was abducted.
