Parents Take Heed

Sometimes We Trust The Wrong PersonEdit

My Dad introduced my mom to Ms. L. He said that he knew her and her husband  they were from his hometown. After that Ms. L. and my mom formed a friendship. Mom welcomed her into our home she started coming by our house to see mom and us periodically . She loved children but she did not have any of her own. She always offered to watch us when mom went shopping. My mother felt comfortable with her and she trusted her. That is how Ms. L. started baby sitting us for our mother. Then one day changed my mother’s life forever. Ms. L had been babysitting us that day. When mom returned Ms. L. asked mom if she take our baby sister shopping to buy something for her. She said that she would be right back. Mom said okay. Ms. L was always buying something for us. Mom never gave it a second thought. Then  after hours had gone by and Ms. L. had not returned with our sister. It started getting dark and still she had not returned. At this point mom began to get worried because she did not know whether something happen or not. All  she knew was that something didn’t feel right. My dad kept reassuring my mom that there was nothing to get upset about Ms. L would be back with our sister. Mom decided that she was going to the Authorities to report that a friend had taken her daughter shopping and had not returned.
